Hey there! So drinking water is a very important part of losing weight. In general, we should be drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day. So, to keep track of how many glasses of water you drink a day, I found this great idea on the internet. Wear 8 rubber bands around your wrist and every time you drink a glass of water, remove one rubber band. If you drink a pop or a soda, put one band back on your wrist! I think this is a great idea and I will definately be using it! Hope it works for you! :)

Getting In Shape
This blog is about getting in shape. I started it to help me keep track of my progress as I begin to lose weight, to share my progress with others, and potentially help people get in shape as well. There are workouts and other inspirational material on this blog as well. Good luck!

Foods that will boost your metabolism
Along with working out, you must eat well also. In the past, I have used the Weightwatchers system. This system worked very well for me; I lost 15 pounds!! I do recommend this system. However, now that I am in college I do not have time to keep track of all the food I eat every day. Instead, I decided to eat more vegetables and foods that will help boost my metabolism. Drinking lots of water every day is also a key part of staying healthy and getting in shape. Below is a list of fifteen foods that will help boost your metabolism.
Good luck!

Exercise: Level 1
Hey everyone! So I was browsing the internet and came across a blog on tumblr (downtownn.tumblr.com). It is a blog all about fitness and getting in shape. The blogger has an exercise plan that has 4 levels (soon to be five) and I am choosing to do this. Below is the level 1 workout plan. At first look it does seem very easy but I was looking ahead at the higher levels and they do get much harder, let me tell you! I plan to follow this whole workout. It will help me start out easy and gradually get to tougher workouts. It seems like very little to do a day but this is what I am choosing to do. Feel free to use this!
Below is the Starters Exercise plan if you wish to start a little easier than level one. (I am starting with level one but feel free to start with the starter's plan!) This is a great way to get you used to exercising every day!
Good luck everyone!

Intro
Hey everyone! My name is Olivia! This is my very first blog so bare with me. I wanted to start this blog for a number of reasons. 1. It will help me keep track of my progress of getting in shape and shedding those unwanted pounds. 2. I want to share my progress with others and show them it is possible. and 3. I have always thought that blogs were so cool so I wanted to start my own.
So what is this blog all about? Well let me tell you! Being a college freshman, I found out that the phrase "Fresman Fifteen" was true... I have gained weight since I got to college... and to start I am not the thinnest girl either. I have always struggled with weight. I just want to get in shape and not be lazy. So I am going to attempt to excersize a little bit each day, starting out slow and slowly but surely increase the difficulty. Also, I want to start eating healthy. So starting weight: 150.
I will try and write a new post a few times every week! Thank you so much for reading!
If you have any comments or thoughts please let me know! Thanks!
Much love,
Olivia :)
